What a great idea. It really makes sense. We will definitely want to trade in our old Sony of about ten years for an upgrade.

I think that this is a fantastic scheme. My current tv is only 15 years old but it’s very hard to make out what’s going on as it’s so dark and fuzzy compared to newer models. I’ll definitely be upgrading

How dissapointing that Currys are not offering the same incentive having just puchased a Sony Bravia and scrapping an old Sony i am most dissapointed !!!

26″ LCDs have a £50 trade in maximum, so you’ll only get £50 in total, not £50 for each one. A nice idea though!

The price you get for your own Trade In TV depends on which Sony TV you want to buy. You’ll get up to £150 for your own trade in, but that is for the most expensive Sony LCDs
